THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently inviting qualified candidates of all experience levels who are interested in dealing with a variety of general office and corporate legal assistant matters to join the team in our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive and professional attitude.

The hours of work are 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • General administrative tasks including data entry, photocopying and scanning, and file management
  • Respond to daily inquiries from lawyers, legal assistants, and clients
  • Order office supplies and ensure adequate supplies are maintained
  • Provides accounting support and monthly billing
  • File storage and management support, including opening and closing files
  • Corporate services work, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

TECHNICAL ASSETS

  • Must have working knowledge in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams
  • ACUMIN knowledge an asset
  • Net Documents knowledge an asset

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum Highschool Diploma
  • Accounting or Office Administration diploma an asset
  • CORES Level I Certificate an asset
  • 1-year general office administration or accounting experience preferred
