- Advise and assists individuals to ensure that their assets are protected through the drafting of their Will, family trusts, cohabitation and prenuptial agreements
- Work with families during the loss of a loved one to ensure their loved one’s estate is well managed whether the estate is simple or complex
Business Law
- Advise corporate and commercial clients concerning their operational, governance and strategic issues
- Assist clients in completing successful mergers and acquisitions
- Work with employers and employees to resolve employment disputes
- Counsel clients on matters of contractual law
- Work with lenders and clients with matters related to commercial financing
- Advise clients concerning leasing and commercial real estate and land purchases and sales
Not-for-Profit and Charity Law
- Develop governance structures, objects and bylaws which allow organizations to operate efficiently and achieve their goals
- Work with boards and membership groups to advise on governance matters
- Assist organizations, foundations and churches in navigating the not-for-profit/charity world
- Advise clients concerning applications for charitable status and operating a charitable organization
